    Mahler 7 - Levine/Chicago

    Hard to find this 1980 recording in CD. The CSO brass at their best. Principal trumpeter Bud Herseth absolutely shines. Possibly his best recording of the 7th. Recorded in the reverberant Medina Temple, the sound is quite alive. Recording engineers didn't over record the solo sections. Good blend and balance throughout.
