The slow formula is the strongest. That is this product. Can weld and fix a broken aluminum intake manifold. Save a ton of money with this product.
Just be patient when using. mix it well. don't get in a hurry. Have all tools and cleaning rags/solvent. make sure surface is cleaned with strong solvent, acetone, nail polish remover whatever does not leave a residue. I think it has up to 3000 psi very strong. stronger than the quick dry. bought on ebay for 5x cheaper than walmart. thanks

Just what we needed
I use it instead of Bondo in working in the Restoration Hangar @ Castle Air Museum in Atwater, Ca. We work with alot of Aluminum/Magnesium corrosion and I like JB Weld better than Bondo. Its a little more expensive and a little harder to work with but I can fill voids with JB and then Fiberglass over the top and it makes an excellent repair that won't degrade if it gets wet. I doubt this was on the original list of things you can do with JB Weld, but I found it works great if you have the time and your idea of Quality is something that won't ever come back to haunt you. Good stuff..The parts in the pix are off a F-117 Blackhawk we are working on. These parts go on the end of the Control Surfaces that were sandblasted (probably a different media) and they got a little carried away when they ... This is the best glue/bond I have ever used😁.
I have tried so many brands including the top ones like flexshield, gorilla glue brand, exe.. This is the best bang for your buck. I originally discover this whatching youtube (PJ) on the Project Farm chanel. I tried it and it works better than I expected.

Hard, durable and machineable filler with great adhesion
JB Weld epoxy has excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces. I'd bought some high-end auto body filler to fill a void in an aluminum casting, but it pulled right out once it was hardened. I then used JB Weld and it worked perfectly, refuses to separate from the aluminum, and was easily ground-down to the metal surface level with common sandpaper. The cured epoxy drills and taps without breaking, cracking or crumbling. Really great stuff... even stays on your fingers unless you get it off when it's still gooey. Cleans up easily with acetone before it cures, but then is impervious to solvents. In the snapshot, a large well was filled-in with JB Weld, and a chamfer around the rim was built-up and leveled to top and side surfaces. Concrete Stud Setting Compound
Thick enough to make a good threaded rod stud setting compound into concrete or gap fillers in metal pieces. I used to use Thortex (sp?) at my work place but since I am retired now went with JB Weld for the strength of the set. I'd like to see some criminal try to yank the stud out of the hole after it is set! Of course nothing is invincible, but it will sure make it harder for them to just walk off with my hard earn dollar things. BTW, if you use it as a stud setter, be sure to clean out all the concrete dust out of the hole before you use it. Otherwise it will not stick to the concrete because of the dust.Thick enough to make a good threaded rod stud setting compound into concrete or gap fillers in metal pieces.
