OKay I do not know much about how to judge this item/product but IT WORKS. Be careful and make sure you use only ONE tablespoon to start.....because it make work TOO GOOD! Just a word of caution! Does not upset your stomach even if you take more than a tablespoon...in fact it does the opposite...it makes you feel GREAT because you feel the cleansing and NO it does not give you the runs ither! But I've never experience such a practical way and safe way to have a healthy b-movement. I recommend it for anyone! Great product. This is a dietary staple. I mix a tablespoon in my smoothies or in unsweetened almond milk. Gives that extra boost of fiber we all need. Plus this feeds the good bacteria in your gut. Organic psyllium is the only way to go. Conventional had too many pesticides.
