    Great book. She write very easy recipes, mostly all ingredients we have in our pantries. After watching her show for years I decided to get a few of her books. So glad I did ! 🙂

    Barefoot Contessa knows her way around the Kitchen!

    Ina Garten is a wonderful cook and cookbook author. Her recipes are simple, yet elegant, and most are quite easy to prepare and don't require a lot of ingredients. She covers the range from appetizers to desserts, and offers menu suggestions to help when you're in a rut. I own several of Garten's cookbooks and enjoy them all. She has an easy style and casual way of communication that makes anyone feel like they are capable of recreating the dishes in her books. Garten is passionate about her ingredients, and offers tips on various brands she feels are the best, to help your finished dish turn out as best as it can.     Elegance and Beauty

    I got familiar with the author through watching her cooking show on food TV. Her elegant style just immediately caught my attention. This book itself is like a piece of art. I enjoyed just flipping through it. Each recipe has a beautiful picture on glossy paper, which is really helpful in understanding the food I'm making. I always like to see the picture before I try out the recipe, so I know what I will be making. :) The recipes are divided into the following sections: soup and sandwich salads dinner vegetables dessert breakfast I just tried one muffin recipe and it turned out to be absolutely delicious.     Excellent All Around Cookbook - A Must Have

    This is a great cookbook by Ina Garten and one, frankly, that is not seen often up for sale. I forgot she has written this book about the beginning recipes from the Barefoot Contessa when she owned it. I recommend this book for the simple but truly flavorful recipes she has. Loved the Lemon Fusilli and Roasted Homey Potatoes, two great. easy, fast dishes to make all year round. Loved this book and glad its in my cookbook collection.
