This brake has a larger hole than necessary for a .308 which will make it less effective as a brake for a .308 and or anything smaller. It is inexpensive and that is why I bought it. You only need .0020 clearance a true aftermarket .308 brake should measure about.3033 in. hole diameter. The delivery was prompt, and it was well packaged.
