Not a user friendly cookbook. If you are new to Indian cuisine and do not know what Hing or other terms for the ingredients called for you will have a very difficult time understanding this author's recipes. Fortunately I have other Indian vegetarian cookbooks that were very detailed about what ingredients are called in India translated to other regions. I was so disappointed with this cookbook I don't use it and will donate it and use others I own that are better written.
Quality-as stated, that is used. It was a handy book to use and to add vegetarian diet to one's repertoire
