I originally received a 3-pc set with original TB fragrance, and this one St. Barts. Although I used all the fragrances fairly equal, I had just enough left of this small sample to remind me how much I liked the very unique fragrance. Compliments are relative with fragrances. People are either drawn to you or repelled. I learned a long time ago how to apply colognes so that the body oils do the work, not the fragrance: in other words, less is more. So in that context, yes girls are more forthcoming and it being such a masculine scent, guys are well, just guys. We know what we like. As to the way this was received, I expected a bottle in a brown cardboard box. Great summer scent.
It’s a pure Summer scent that doesn’t last long. It’s smells great to me. You might want to bring an atomizer with you because like I said it is an Eau de cologne which is weaker than the standard edt. I give it a high rating because amazing scent and great for summer.
