    Able to play DVD in U.S. via VLC Media Player.

    Played on VLC Media Player without changing the DVD drive region settings on my computer. Routed to my sound system and monitor to view. A movie for a the collector especially for film techniques such as wide screen.

    Well worth it!

    I'm thrilled that I can view it in the US Region 1 on my laptop or cast to my TV. It is the best rendition of the film and I am rediscovering the fullness of Gance's work after first seeing it forty years ago.
