I really love Liz Taylor's White Diamonds, Gardenia, and Diamonds and Emeralds fragrances. I bought this one based on the reviews and my experience with some of her other perfumes. This was a blind buy, and what a mistake it was! Honestly, the only good think that I can say about this perfume is that the bottle and packaging are beautiful. That's about it. This fragrance isn't sweet at all. it has a strange smell that I cannot describe other than to say that it's "crisp". I waited for it to dry down and soften because most perfumes smell better after they've dried down, but not with this one. It didn't smell bad but it just doesn't smell like a perfume at all. What a waste of money. I am surprised at all the good reviews it has received and the fact that people are saying that it's a much ... No violet in this perfume. It's a powdery, fresh fruity, floral scent. Top note is fruity fresh Peach at the start; middle notes are floral Rose, Jasmine, and sweet powdery Peony; base notes Virginia Cedar gives woody depth, and Amber gives warmth they anchor the fragrance and keeps the smell lingering on clothes and skin for hours.
