This album starts off with a song called 'The Sleeping Woods'. I was house sitting for some friends who live in the coastal mountain range in Oregon. One evening while sitting on their back deck looking up at the forest that sloped skyward this song just kind of found it's way into my flute. Many of the songs in this album found there way in similar fashion.
