Love Patti Smith & the Horses [Legacy Edition] 2 CD Set is worth having. If you liked the original "Horses" you will love this edition with the original album remastered + the bonus song "My Generation". The second disk is the live version recorded at London's Royal Festival Hall on June 25, 2006. The live version pretty much follows the original album but adds additional prose to start off a few of the songs. It comes with a booklet with some additional photos from the session that Robert Maplethorpe shot to come up with the cover. Its a classic album made even better. If you liked the original "Horses" you will like this edition with the original remastered LP (with a bonus song "My Generation) and a second disk with a live version (recorded in London in 2005). The live version pretty much follows the original album but adds additional prose to start off a few of the songs. Horses
She is very talented, has a lot of energy and great beat. But I now see why I was depressed all the time when I used to listen to that album a lot; it's mostly about death, suicide, etc.

Can't believe it has been 30 yrs And her writing style is still fresh.And relevant today as then. Bought this to replace my worn cd copy & my lp has long since disappeared.
