Not just for intended application
my large generator has these two plugs way at the bottom of the engine and difficult to access. the 34011B dipstick was installed at one of the plugs, the stick cut about 2 inches marked with a line at the correct level and voila...a convenient dip stick to access oil level.

Perfect replacement or to extend your old dip stick
Really nice to have the extension rather than the stock one down by the block. Makes it much easier to check the oil level and the fit is perfect ! Highly recommend for replacement or to extend old dip stick.

This dipstick, tube and bracket retrofitted on to my 25 year old 8 HP Tecumseh engine perfectly. It replaced the original stubby top of case mount plastic dipstick. Much easier to check oil level now. 5 minute install. 👍🏻
