i watch the video they supply and my tv was doing exactley what was described,yet when i put the repaired board in place it performed exactly as it did before repair..i trust that they replaced some components but tv is exactly the way it was .so im wondering if its not something else.

You can spend 4 or 5 hundred dollars and a month having an electronics shop do this repair or you can spend 40 bucks and a little of your time removing the board and sending it in for repair. Cheap and easy fix to bring a TV back to life. My local shop charges 125 dollars an hour and won't work on anything smaller than 65 inch. That automatically means a new TV! It's a throw away society but it doesn't have to be that way.
